Sunabeda village in Golden light

This is the photograph which I had capture in my camera in 2011 in Sunabeda village. Sunabeda is the plateau situated 5000 ft above the sea level in Nuapada district in Odisha ( India ). Water is an issue in Sunabeda, women are seen going to fetch water from the tube well.
Sunabeda is the home to Chuktia-Bhunjia tribe.
I love this photograph and think it is one of my best photograph so far I have captured. When I shared this in 2011 and again reshared recently I got lot of complement that it looks like a painting !

I am sitting here since last one year !

Recently we were shooting a documentary in a government school on good practices to create an better environment for quality education. While shooting our camera person capturing visuals inside a class room from a corner. Once he needs a little more space and requested a kid of class two to give him little space to accommodate his tripod. Instead of providing space that boy relied to the camera person, I am sitting in this space since last one year, so accommodate your tripod some where else instead in my place. The camera person appreciate the boy and his confidence.
We listen about the fearful atmosphere in schools, an this is one such school where you can see the fearless and confident students who are enjoying their class.  # Purusottam Singh Thakur
